Special Events Committee
Identify social and business events ideal to bring chapter
members and guest together to build stronger networking
relationships. |

Membership Committee
Actively communicate with prospective new members, assist
new members in orientation events, mentor new members to build
stronger value of membership to chapter. |

Programs Committee
Identify speakers for 2009 membership monthly meetings,
assist leadership with implementation of monthly meetings, greet
speakers, and assist with logistics of the program event. 2008
speakers confirmed. |

Affiliate Committee
Meet with fellow affiliates to discuss means to cultivate
business for affiliates in Realtor environment. Network how to
best participate with programs and special events maximizing
investment of sponsorship opportunities. |

Professional Development Committee
Deliver quarterly educational events that draw large
participation of members and non members with quality speakers
and topics designed for half day or full day events including
WCR Designation courses known as Performance Management
Networking. This committee will schedule events into 2009 year.
Members will assist on the day of the event with registration,
monitoring class and greeting attendees. |

Finance and Budget - This committee will
review and plan the 2008 and the 2009 business year. The
committee will monitor the chapter finances including quarterly
audits internally. |

Technology Committee
Assist chapter with Website maintenance, enhancements and
implement creative concepts for chapters including
social/business networks like Link-IN, Facebook, Plaxo. Consider
use of Webinar, podcasts, and blogs to interact with our members
and guests. Evaluate tools that streamline routine processes
used by chapter committees. |

Awards Committee - review nominees for
Chapter awards, select and present awards at Chapter awards
meeting in November. |

Ways and Means Committee
Show me the money committee. No other way to say it! The
chapter must raise financial support to underwrite chapter
expenses used to operate the organization. The task is to ask
for the support of members and non members alike. All businesses
need marketing opportunities. Sponsorship of key events will be
the call to action for 2008. The quality of our events will
create a desire for sponsors to invest in the chapter
opportunities. |

Facilities Committee - Complete the
selection of locations for our chapter monthly meetings for 2008
and first part of 2009 |

Hospitality Committee
Everyone appreciates a warm welcome to events. This
committee will meet and greet guests and members to all events.

Strategic Planning Committee
Short term and long term planning is essential in a chapter.
This committee is established to monitor, measure and modify the
chapter’s Strategic plan and it’s connection to WCR National and
State chapter. |

Toastmasters Committee
Public speaking is the life line to growing your business
and interacting with organizations. Toastmasters in WCR is
increasing nationwide. We will launch our chapters Toastmasters
in 2008. |

Member Calling Communications
Hello, can you hear me? Hello? The telephone is still the
most effective means of communications! To assure full
attendance to monthly meetings and special events this group
will have one on one communications with members of our chapter
to confirm dates of key events. This is an excellent channel to
build working relations in our community of professionals. With
almost 200 members if we can get 10 members to call 20 people
the time commitment will be about 1 hour a month. |

Community Network Committee - President
Elect Judy Ramella seeks to develop a link with our outreach
partners in Palm Beach County to build up residents in our
market place mentoring and embracing the Women’s Council Mission
statement. Examples are Habitat for Humanity, Mentoring women in
Palm Beach County, etc. |

Communications Committee
Media contacts, press releases, newsletter, podcasts, blogs
and other channels to communicate to those in our market what
Women’s Council of Realtors of the Greater Palm Beaches
accomplish. |
